• Visit DDA (Delhi Development Authority), under which jurisdiction change of land falls. You are required to submit a written application to the officer. The details you mention in the application must be correct.
• Attach all the documents along with your application and take them to the officer for verification purposes. If your application is accepted, you will have to pay the fee. The receipt with the details of particulars will be issued to you. When the DD receives your application for land conversion, it verifies that all the documents have been submitted. • After the verification of your application, it will be handed over to the concerned authorities, who will examine the submitted documents and will inspect the site.
• The concerned authorities will check the authenticity of each document. Since agricultural land has joint ownership, you must have the approval of all the other parties. Once the officials come to know that the criteria for agricultural land conversionare met and you are eligible, a land conversion certificatewill be issued to you.
• When the land conversion process is completed, the revenue department will make the required changes in the government records. Hence, the updated records will show the land use change.
• After getting the land conversion certificate, you will have one year to make the necessary corrections inland use change. If you fail to do so within the specified time, your land conversion may be withdrawn and the money you paid will be forfeited.
